  Commissioning
a Portrait of your beloved dog is a wonderful
way to celebrate that special bond and relationship.
I offer custom paintings that capture your dog's spirit,
beauty and personality. Working from your favorite photographs,
each portrait is created using oil on canvas.
Like people, no two dog faces are alike. Each has its
unique characteristics and personality. I capture the
essence, specific to your dog's personality as well
as the breed.
The Process:

Working from photographs which you provide,
the painting takes approximately 2-4 weeks to
complete. |

We begin by discussing the details of the portrait,
your dog's personality, perhaps a particular pose,
as well as the mood of the finished portrait. |

Once we discuss the details of the portrait,
a sketch will be provided to show you the composition
of the finished painting. |

The background will be painted at the artist's
discretion. |

You choose the canvas size, so it fits exactly
where you would like within your home. |

Canvas size: 8" x 10", 11" x 14", 16" x 20",
18" x 24", 24" x 30". All paintings are done on
high quality stretched canvas. |

Then I create a unique work of art especially
for you. |

All photos provided to the artist will be returned
in their original condition upon completion of
the portrait. |
Pricing Guide:

To secure the commission - a deposit of one-half
of the final portrait price is due at the beginning. |

The deposit is non-refundable. The remaining
amount is due at the completion of the painting. |

Additional figures and detailed backgrounds
may alter the price. |

Checks and money orders are accepted. |
